Organisational Charts and Reporting
Along with comprehensive HR reports and a bespoke report building tool PeopleManager has also been designed so that most of the views can be saved as excel files. This, we believe, is a unique feature of PeopleManager and means that unlike other HR Systems all your data is available to you when you need it. No expensive requests for bespoke reports and no frustration that the data you have recorded cannot be accessed by you.
So, let’s take a look at some of the reports that are available…..
Bespoke Report Builder
This allows you to build your own reports selecting from all the HR information the system holds for your employees so that no information is inaccessible to you and the report can be created in the way that suits you. Exported as an excel file this data is then available for you to use however you wish.
For example, you could just show names and dates of birth, or age or start date or in fact, any combination of data you require. You can also select the information by employees who started between certain dates, left between certain dates or for all employees and by gender or job title.
This reporting function is truly flexible allowing you full access to all your HR data for your individual business needs.
Employee Hours Report
This report is configurable by period e.g. week, month, quarter etc. and shows the contracted hours, paid hours, paid absence and unpaid absence hours during the period for each employee.
This annualised report shows the staff turnover and length of service for a rolling year. If you have multiple sites it is possible to show comparison tables.
This option enables you to create automatic organisation charts for your company. View and amend your organizational structure using an interactive chart that allows you to drag and drop either individual employees or even entire reporting lines. The chart can show management structure on individual sites or across a number of your sites that have their employees on PeopleManager. The chart can also be set to display employee photos and salary information.
Where your employees receive benefits or additional pay beyond their salary it can be useful to provide them with a Compensation Statement showing their complete remuneration package in one easy to assess document.
PeopleManager Compensation Statements take the data entered into the employee record regarding the employee’s whole package and produces annual statements showing in graph and table form a visual summary of the employee’s total remuneration. This can be useful in improving staff satisfaction and possibly retention.
If you use the Time and Attendance function of PeopleManager this report shows, by week, those employees who are late for work helping you identify persistent lateness. This is also selectable by department.
Employees sometimes leave your employment and recruitment can be very costly. This report allows you to see the reasons that your employees gave for leaving to assess if there are any patterns which, when addressed, could help with employee retention.
This report allows you to select a period and see, by employee, the absence by type. It can also show holiday accrual balances if required so you can assess the current holiday year position and can be configured to flag key absence thresholds for your organisation e.g. 3 periods of sickness in a three month period.
Management Analysis Report
This report details all sorts of important information to give you an overview of both the HR activity in your business over the previous quarter and also HR Activities that are coming up and require action in the next quarter.
Through a series of charts and breakdown information the report gives you vital management data regarding absence and turnover. It enables you to keep a close eye on the number of days your business is losing to sickness and other absence and details labour turnover by period. By identifying patterns this information can be a vital tool in managing your employees effectively.
This report also details outstanding compliance issues such as visa renewals and ensures that you are aware of upcoming HR Activities like probationary reviews or appraisals, maternity consultations etc.
Essentially this report gives you a useful snapshot of your business from a HR perspective and should help you keep abreast of trends and areas of concern.
