HR Activities and Training Records
Keeping track of the many activities you need to undertake for your employees as part of your HR function can be a bit of a pain. The high profile ones stay on your agenda but it is easy to forget the less urgent ones like reviews, re-training and even important things like the expiry of visas or profession registrations.
The PeopleManager HR and Payroll Submission System aims to provide you with an effective tool to make this a little easier.
HR Activities can be set up for individual employees, or multiple employees, along with recurrence if required. These activities can be selected from a range of pre-set normal HR Activities such as Probationary Reviews, or Disciplinary task but you can also add organisation specific ones to make this tool really relevant to you.
Each activity has a due date and completion date along with associated tasks and a comment field for notes.
PeopleManager can be configured to display expiry dates for some of the activities such as expiring professional qualifications in the employee details section of the Employee Self Service Portal so that your employees are kept aware of these deadlines and can take the necessary action.
Training records are dealt with in much the same way with an entry for each piece of training that the employee undertakes, course dates and duration, renewal dates, exam dates and cost along with the ability to record if the cost of the course should be recovered on leaving and a timescale for this with a record of the diminishing liability for the employee.
The HR System has a calendar for activities due and generates associated reports letting you know what needs to be done in the next few months, reminding you of things like expiring visas, re-training, appraisals etc.
